Ruth has been with ARC Communities since its inception and was, in fact, instrumental in establishing the organisation back in 2011. During her time with ARC she has not only managed it exceptionally well but has also developed several additional services all of which have helped to support some of the neediest people in our local communities.
Whilst we have our core drop-in services located in the towns of Rhyl and Colwyn Bay funded by Welsh Government Substance Misuse, Ruth has also ensured that we have a presence in disadvantaged communities such as Pensarn, Llandudno and Penmaenmawr, all providing wraparound enterprise services.
Whilst we will miss Ruth, we realise that she is moving on to take up an exciting new opportunity and so wish her every success in her new ventures in North Yorkshire.
We are determined to ensure that the services that have been developed by Ruth on behalf of ARC Communities will continue seamlessly and, to do this, we have agreed a service level agreement with Sanctuary Trust to manage the services for the next few months to allow us to put more permanent arrangements into place.
Sanctuary Trust is a well-established organisation based in Rochdale with housing support services in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, and so we are happy to be working with them and are confident that they will ensure that a high level of service will continue to provide for everyone who needs it.
